I turn your printed photos, slides, and albums into digital files, so you still have them if the prints fade, get damaged, or are lost. Each one is handled individually, by hand. Faded and discolored prints can often be recovered, carefully, so they still look like your photos and not a filter. Want them on your phone and TV? I can load them into a private photo library on a system I build for you, or into whatever you already use.

An account is one person, and a managed app is one service, like Photos or Passwords. Estate includes 4 people; additional people on Estate are $15/month each. Extra devices are $50 each during a visit or by remote setup.
You decide who has access, including me. I keep maintenance access so I can update and back up your system, you can turn my access off at any time, and I won’t open your photos or files without asking first. Your password vault is encrypted with a master password I never see or store.
I pick up your originals in person and scan them: prints at 600 dpi as standard, with 1200 or 2400 dpi available for small or detailed prints, and slides and negatives at 2400 dpi. Your files stay grouped the way they came to me, by album, box, or section, and come back on a USB drive along with your originals. Your photos stay close to home: hand-carried locally, never mailed anywhere.
Yes. Your files sit on an encrypted drive. With the Everyday setup, it unlocks itself at startup, so the system comes back on its own after a power outage. If you’d rather it stay locked unless you’re there, I can use the Secure setup instead, with a small USB key or a passphrase, so a stolen machine won’t open without that key or passphrase. Everyday protects a drive that’s removed, not a whole machine that’s stolen.
Most family collections take 2–3 weeks. Larger collections take longer. Have a funeral or event deadline? Call, and I’ll tell you honestly whether I can make it.
It keeps running. Your photos sit in plain folders by year and month, it’s built on open software any qualified tech can maintain, and you get a written guide and a recovery sheet at setup. The hardware and the files are yours.
Only if you want me to. With your written OK, I hold onto a working copy for 90 days, so if anything goes wrong on your end I can get your files back to you. After 90 days I delete it and confirm in writing. Otherwise I delete my working copy once you confirm you have your files.
Your system keeps running and your data stays yours. Updates, monitoring, and backup checks stop. If you have off-site backup, the storage account is already in your name; you just add your own card and it keeps going. I give you a written guide so you, or any qualified tech, can take over.
